The Johnnies led from start-to-finish despite Hamline holding them to a dismal 4-of-21 (.190) figure from beyond the arch. The Pipers couldn't capitalize at the three-point line as well, as they knocked down just 3-of-12 (.250) shots. Saint John's made up for their subpar three-point shooting with a 28-of-54 (.519) field goal percentage.

Cooper Berg registered a double double in his final collegiate game with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Tait Nelson chipped in with 13 points. Ryan Thissen paced the Johnnies with a game-high 24 points, while Mitchell Plombon contributed a double double that included 14 points and 10 boards.

The Pipers bid farewell to seniors Berg, Jake Larson, and Andrew Jackson.
