BLOOMINGTON, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team hosted WIAC foe UW-Stout at Lifetime Fitness in Bloomington on Saturday morning. The Pipers dropped a 6-3 decision to the Blue Devils.
Hamline falls to 0-6 overall, while UW-Stout improves to 6-5 on the season.

The Pipers exited doubles with a 2-1 deficit, as Lily Vang/Taylor Vyskocil prevailed with an 8-3 decision in the No. 2 position.
A thrilling extra-setter was in store at No. 1 singles, as Lily Vang dropped a hard-fought 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 score. The bottom half of Hamline's singles lineup came through with victories behind Taylor Hopkins 7-5, 6-2 in the No. 4 slot, and Sydney Hubbard in a nail-biting 2-6, 6-1, 10-5 decision in the No. 5 position.
The Pipers will return to action on Friday, March 11 at St. Catherine for a 6 p.m. match.
