NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University women's hockey team traveled to St. Olaf for a Friday-night bout. The Pipers prevailed with their third shutout victory of the season with a 4-0 decision over the Oles.
Hamline improves to 9-7, 8-3 MIAC, while St. Olaf falls to 7-13, 1-12 MIAC.

McKenna Hulslander backstopped the Pipers with 21 saves in net. The offense kicked off with a power-play goal courtesy of Jordan Hansen at 16:40 of the first to make the score 1-0, before Amanda Nylander upped the score to 2-0 over a minute later with a goal at 17:48 of the frame. Sophie Rausch capitalized on her 12th and 13th goals of the season to widen Hamline's lead to 4-0 at 2:12 of the second period, and 16:58 of the third period.
Cheyenne Abear contributed a pair of assists for the Pipers, while Michaela Arnold and Sydney Lemke each had one.
Hamline outshot St. Olaf 28-21. Ivy Shonka tallied 24 saves in net for the Oles.
The Pipers will host St. Olaf at TRIA Rink tomorrow, Saturday, February 5 at 2 p.m.
