SAINT PAUL, MINN.—No. 23 Chicago paid the Hamline University women's lacrosse team a visit to Klas Field on Saturday afternoon. The Pipers came up empty in a 19-0 loss to the Maroons.
Hamline falls to 1-6 overall, while Chicago improves to 8-1.

The Maroons outshot the Pipers 35-4. Hamline won the draw control battle with a 12-10 edge, led by Molly Garin's four. Justine Case made nine saves in net for the Pipers. Rachel Keefe stopped two shots for Chicago over 25:14 of action before Emily Geigen and Kat Berritto finished the game.
Ali Sheehy led Chicago with five goals.
The Pipers will open MWLC play against Northwestern (Minn.) at Klas Field on Wednesday, April 6 at 7 p.m.
