OWATONNA, MINN.—The Hamline University men's tennis team squared-off against WIAC foe UW-La Crosse in a neutral-site bout in Owatonna, Minnesota on Friday. The Eagles converted a 7-2 decision over the Pipers.
Hamline falls 4-7, while UW-La Crosse improves to 6-8.

The Pipers found themselves in a 2-1 deficit after doubles, where Nazeer Robinson/Sam Thompson took care of business 8-2 in the No. 2 spot.
The singles flight also resulted in one victory for Hamline, as Sam Thompson continued his dominate match with a 6-3, 6-1 decision at No. 2.
Hamline will return to action tomorrow, Saturday, April 2 against Bethel at the Roger Tennis Club. Match time is set for 1:30 p.m.
