The Pipers came back from a 6-0 deficit with a pair of runs in the sixth, and seventh innings. The sixth inning saw Megan Rubbelke lead off with a double, and score off Theresa Klinnert's two-out double to narrow the score to 6-1. Kira Krueger, who reached on a hit by pitch and advanced to third on Klinnert's double, scored on Lydia Lecher's infield single to make things 6-2.

Cook and Klinnert each went 2-for-4 at the dish for Hamline. Pipers pitcher Kira Krueger threw the opening five innings, before Dana Rosbacka came in for the sixth inning. Krueger allowed six hits and six runs, before Rosbacka allowed two hits in the sixth.
