SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University baseball team hosted Augsburg (DH) at CHS Field on Saturday. Gavin Renwick's walk-off RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh propelled Hamline to a 5-4 victory in game one. Game two was suspended in the top of the seventh inning with the Pipers leading 3-0, and will be resumed tomorrow, Sunday, April 24 at 1 p.m.
Hamline improves to 8-19, 2-9 MIAC, while Augsburg falls to 11-17, 3-8 MIAC.

The score was tied on three occasions throughout the contest en route to a 4-4 score heading into the seventh inning; where Tyler Johnson's single, Owen Christenson's walk, and Avery Nelson's walk loaded the bases. With two outs, Renwick gave Hamline a 5-4 victory as he prevailed with a walk-off RBI-single that scored Johnson.
Pipers starting pitcher Zach Branson scattered six hits, four runs, and registered seven strikeouts over six innings of work in the no decision. Ryan Conn pitched a perfect seventh inning to secure the winning decision for Hamline.
Braeden Bourne went 2-for-4 with a double and triple for the Pipers, while Max Gerstner notched a 2-for-3 outing. Mac Enlow went 1-for-4 with a home run.
The Pipers will resume game two at CHS Field tomorrow, Sunday, April 24 at 1 p.m.
