SAINT PAUL, MINN.-The Hamline University baseball team converted a 5-0 victory over Augsburg on Sunday afternoon. The game was halted in the top of the seventh inning on Saturday evening, and completed on Sunday.
The Pipers improve to 9-19, 3-9 MIAC, while Augsburg falls to 11-18, 3-9 MIAC.

The Pipers led 3-0 at the point of suspension, which occurred in the top of the seventh inning. Gavin Renwick picked up where he left off from game one as his fourth-inning RBI-single drove in Tyler Johnson, who walked, to make the score 1-0. The fifth inning resulted in a pair of runs, as Cullen Buck reached on a fielder's choice and later scored on Mac Enlow's double to push the score to 2-0. Max Gerstner, who singled, advanced to third base on that play before he scored on Owen Christenson's bases-loaded walk to make things 3-0.
Sunday's portion of the game resulted in a pair of runs. The seventh inning saw Braeden Bourne double, and score on Avery Liebren's single to widen Hamline's lead to 4-0. Gerstner registered an eighth-inning triple, which set up Mac Enlow's RBI-single that put the score at 5-0.
Ryan Conn picked up his second pitching win of the series, as he scattered six hits over the opening six innings. Braden Schneider picked up his second save of the season over three innings of work for the Pipers.
Liebren led Hamline at the plate with a 3-for-4 day. Gerstner, Enlow, and Bourne each notched a pair of hits for the Pipers.
Hamline will return to action on Wednesday, April 27, when they'll host St. Olaf (DH) at CHS Field. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
