Eleven individuals recorded a point for Hamline, who had the upper hand in shots on goal 26-16. The opening period resulted in a 10-3 shots on goal advantage for the Pipers. They managed to turn that into a 2-0 lead behind goals from Ashley Grabau at 9:40, and Sydney Lemke at 12:32.

Morgan Wohlers widened Hamline's lead to 3-0 off their lone power play opportunity of the game at 12:32 of the second period.

Concordia weathered the storm in the third period, where they out shot Hamline 8-6 and narrowed their deficit to 3-2 thanks to Morgan Sauvageau 00:37 in, and Lila Lanctot on the power play at 11:39. This provoked Pipers head coach Whitney Colbert to call a timeout. It paid dividends, as Hamline out shot Concordia 6-1 from that point forward.

A pair of individuals would net their first collegiate goal for the Pipers in the third period. Annabel Mehta pushed Hamline's lead to 4-2 at 13:35 of the frame, followed by Marissa Fehr's empty net tally at 18:51 that made the score 5-2.

Michaela Arnold, Erika Broten, Nikki Olund, Annika Lindgren, Ally Steffensmeier, and Abigail Chamernick each had an assist for the Pipers.

Olivia Rinzel stopped 14 shots in net for Hamline, while her counterpart Kate Stephens made 21 saves between the pipes for Concordia.

Hamline will look to secure a weekend sweep of Concordia in Moorhead, Minnesota tomorrow, Saturday, December 2 at 2 p.m.
