SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University men's hockey team settled for a weekend split, as they dropped a 6-1 decision to Concordia (Minn.) at TRIA Rink on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers fall to 4-7-0, 2-4-0 MIAC, while the Cobbers improve to 6-2-1, 2-2-0 MIAC.

Concordia, who out shot Hamline 33-20, got at least one point from nine individuals. Mason Plante led the Cobbers with two goals and one assist, while Joe Harguindeguy also had a three-point outing with a trio of assists.
It took a 5-0 Concordia lead before Hamline found the scoreboard at 4:36 of the third period courtesy of AJ Carls. Bailey Sommers and Nikolai Dulak were credited assists on the Pipers' lone goal.
The Cobbers finished 2-for-4 on the power play.Â
Hamline goaltender Maximillian Haselbacher registered 19 saves in the first 51:25 of play, before Trevor Wong came in and stopped eight shots over the final 8:35. Matt Fitzgerald converted 19 saves in net for Concordia.
The Pipers won't return to action until Friday, January 5, when they host UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m.
