ST. JOSEPH, MINN.—The Hamline University women's basketball team avenged their one-point 53-52 home loss to Saint Benedict on December 10, as they led from start-to-finish in a 77-58 road triumph on Saturday.
The Pipers improve to 15-6, 12-6 MIAC, while the Bennies fall to 14-7, 11-7 MIAC.

Four Pipers finished the game in double figures, while their bench contributed 34 points. This led to an impressive 28-of-61 (.459) shooting mark and a 10-of-24 (.417) figure from beyond the arch. Lydia Lecher was all over the stat sheet with a team-leading 18 points, seven boards, and three assists. Camille Cummings chipped in 14 points off the bench, while Chan'el Anderson-Manning came through with 13 points for Hamline. Alyssa Williamson registered a team-leading five assists and four steals, and rounded out the Pipers in double figures with 10 points.
Carla Meyer notched a game-high 19 points and eight rebounds for a Saint Benedict team that shot a dismal 5-of-24 (.208) mark from the three-point line.
The Pipers will host St. Scholastica at Hutton Arena on Wednesday, February 8 at 7 p.m.
