TUCSON, ARIZ.—The Hamline University baseball team faced Concordia (Wis.) on day two of their spring trip in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday evening, where they dropped a 29-8 (8 innings) decision.
The Pipers fall to 2-8, while the Falcons improve to 2-4.

Both teams combined for 37 hits in the contest, 16 of which came from Hamline. Max Gerstner led the way with a 4-for-5 outing that included three RBI and a pair of runs scored from the lead off position. It was another day at the office for Tyler Johnson, who turned in a 3-for-3 day while Braeden Bourne and Colin Schuetz each registered a pair of hits.
The Pipers utilized six different pitchers in the contest, who collectively had to overcome six fielding errors from their defense and a trio of Concordia home runs.
Hamline will face Otterbein in Tucson tomorrow, Monday, March 13 at 9 a.m. (MT).
