MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's lacrosse team squared-off against Alma in a neutral-site bout at the Augsburg Dome on Saturday night. The Scots led from start-to-finish in a 19-8 decision over the Pipers.
Hamline falls to 1-2, while Alma stays undefeated at 6-0.

Sam Peterson was all over the stat sheet on both ends for Alma with six goals, six assists, 12 points, nine shots, four caused turnovers, and five ground balls. Kirsten Browne was on her heels with three goals and four assists for seven points.
The dynamic duo engineered a Alma squad that out shot Hamline 43-14, but barely won the draw control battle by a 15-14 margin. Taryn Leonard had a lot to do with that with a team-leading five draw controls and three goals, while freshman Courtney Parker came through with three goals, two ground balls, and two draw controls for the Pipers.
Justine Case made 13 saves in net for Hamline, while Cassidy Smith stopped five shots for Alma.
The Pipers will travel to UW-River Falls on Thursday, March 23 for a 7 p.m. game.
