MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team dominated Martin Luther by a 9-0 score at InnerCity Tennis in Minneapolis on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pipers improve to 4-10, while the Knights fall to 1-5.

The doubles flight saw the Pipers pull off the 3-0 lead as Ashley Pitzen/Lynn Nguyen came through with an 8-1 victory at the No. 1 spot, followed by an 8-6 win by Sydney Hubbard/Christine Muller at No. 2. The No. 3 slot resulted in an 8-5 win for Natalie Randall/Chloe Reyes.
The singles flight saw the Pipers register a 6-0 sweep. Pitzen registered a nail-biting 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 win at No. 1, while Jenna Rubbelke notched a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at No. 2. Chloe Reyes was victorious at No. 3 with a 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 decision while Randall also went into a tiebreak at No. 5, where she prevailed with a 6-0, 4-6, 1-0 win. Nguyen was solid with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles, and Christine Muller rounded out Hamline at No. 6 where she tallied a 6-1, 6-2 domination.
The Pipers will host Saint Benedict at the Rogers Tennis Center on Saturday, April 1 at 5 p.m.
