After the game started with a quick goal for the Eagles, Analisa Aragon was able to get the game tied right back up before another La Crosse goal brought the first quarter to a close at 2-1. The Eagles kept going from there posting two-straight goals and eventually bringing the lead to 6-2. Taryn Leonard was able to put one away with just 43 seconds left in the half to give the Pipers some momentum into the break with the score at 6-3. It was short-lived though as the Eagles were able to stretch their lead out to 10-4 with 14:12 left in the game. They were then able to hold on as the Pipers got three late scores with two coming from Maitland Luksan, as they got two goals of their own to secure the 12-7 victory.

Luksan added an assist with her two goals, while Leonard added a pair of assists with her score. The Pipers also got a goal and an assist from Courtney Parker.

Emily Hageman recorded seven saves in net and registered the win. Justine Case posted 14 saves in net for Hamline.

The Pipers will be back in action Saturday, April 22 when they host Monmouth 11 am at Klas Field.
