ARDEN HILLS, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team made the short trek north to Bethel for a Tuesday-afternoon dual, where they dropped an 8-1 decision.
The Pipers fall to 4-14, 0-8 MIAC, while the Royals improve to 14-2, 6-1 MIAC.
"Great win at number six singles for captain, Sydney Hubbard tonight among several other close matches," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones.
Bethel 8, Hamline 1
Sydney Hubbard picked up a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles. Christine Muller dropped a heartbreaking 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 decision at No. 5 singles.
The Pipers will host St. Catherine at InnerCity Tennis on Friday, April 21 at 3 p.m.
