Concordia-Moorhead 1, Hamline 0

The Pipers got out to a slow start and the Cobbers capitalized with a goal from Sophia Robinson in the sixth minute to make the score 1-0. From there on is where the defense stood out for both sides. The Cobbers could not find the back of the net after their lone goal because of Ella Kroone, a freshman goalie for the Pipers. Hamline could not pull any late-game heroics to change the outcome.

The Cobbers out shot the Pipers 17-5 throughout the game. Hamline's goalkeeper Kroone stood out with ten saves while her counterpart Breanna Nelson had zero for Concordia. The Pipers had five ladies play all 90 minutes of today's contest.

Hamline Pipers will next face off against Bethel, Saturday, September 30th in Arden Hills, Minnesota at 3:30 p.m.
