SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's basketball team won in a thriller against the College of Saint Benedict by a score of 54-51.
The Pipers improve to 7-9, 5-7 MIAC, while the Bennies fall to 9-7, 7-5 MIAC.

The Pipers only led the game for 4 minutes and 45 seconds, but balanced defense and a solid scoring run made that time count. Sophie Stork's double-double (10 points, 13 rebounds) paved the way for the Pipers, with Camille Cummings and Kate Trachsel joining her in double digit scoring. Trachsel led all players with 13 points, while Cummings added 11 points and 6 rebounds.
The Pipers out-rebounded the Bennies 42-32.
Kira Young and Carla Meyer both finished with 11 points for Saint Ben's.
The Pipers will look to continue the streak when they travel to Winona to face off against Saint Mary's on Wednesday, January 24, at 7 p.m.
