SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-20) decision to Carleton at Hutton Arena on Saturday night.
The Pipers fall to 8-16, 1-7 MIAC, while the Knights improve to 12-10, 3-5 MIAC.
Hamline 3, Carleton 0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-20)
Grace Bathurst came through with a team-best nine kills for the Pipers, while Britta Lund was efficient with a .294 hitting mark that included six kills as well as two total blocks. The duo were the bright spots for a Hamline offense that hit .081 against Carleton's .223 figure.Â
Jenna Rubbelke notched a game-high 15 digs along with two aces, and two kills for Hamline.
Kaitlyn Kotek dished 13 assists, followed by nine from Kayli Starkey.
All over the stat sheet for Carleton was Rachel Bingman, who finished with a game-high 10 kills on a .286 clip. Megan Smith ran the Knights' offense with 22 assists, as well as the defense with 12 digs.
The Pipers will make the short trek to Macalester on Friday, November 1 for a 7 p.m. match.
