SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's lacrosse team dropped a 16-5 decision to UW-Eau Claire at Klas Field on Tuesday night.
The Blugolds improve to 8-2, while the Pipers fall to 5-5.

Avery Wilson tallied a pair of goals for Hamline, while Maitland Luksan notched one goal and one assist. Analisa Aragon notched a pair of assists. The Pipers got three ground balls and three caused turnovers from Sophia Warner, and Nicole Phillips came through with two draw controls and three ground balls.
Eau Claire outshot Hamline 31-16, but it was the Pipers who had the upper hand in ground balls 21-15.
The Blugolds' Reagan Werner played the game her life with four goals, two caused turnovers, three draw controls, and two ground balls.
Justine Case made 10 saves in net for Hamline, while Alexandria made six saves for the Blugolds.
The Pipers will host Lake Forest at Klas Field on Saturday, April 13 at 12 p.m.
