RESULTS
NORTHFIELD, MINN.—The Hamline University swim & dive teams traveled to St. Olaf for a Saturday-afternoon dual. The Pipers registered 59 points on the men's side, while the women netted 51 points.
Dylan Purrington led the men with a first-place time of 29.08 in the 50-yard breaststroke. Bossou kept the first-place trend alive with a score of 246.00 in the 1-meter dive. Purrington registered second place in the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:03.25. Gus Shaffer kept the second-place trend alive with a 1:02.17 in the 100 yard IM.
The women were led by Sila Yurttas, who registered a pair of first-place times in the 100-yard butterfly (1:02.75) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.54). Yurttas kept that momentum alive in the 100 yard IM, where she notched second place with a 1:04.46. Third place was in the cards for Ellsa Sorenson-Wagner in the 100-yard backstroke, where she clocked in a 1:05.89.
The Pipers will travel to Minnesota Morris for a dual on Friday, January 17 at 5 p.m.
