NEWBERG, Ore. — Hamline (9-2, 2-1 MIAC) dominated George Fox University (1-9, 0-1 NWC) with an 80-53 victory on Monday night at Wheeler Sports Center. The Pipers capitalized on George Fox's turnovers, scoring 22 points off 22 turnovers, and secured a 48-34 advantage in rebounds.
Hamline opened the game with a dominant 8-0 run, highlighted by
Dane DeDominces and
Dominic Dosmann each scoring layups. The visitors capitalized on George Fox's 13 turnovers, converting these into 15 points.
Brendan Ebel led the scoring with a three-pointer at the 12:49 mark, extending Hamline's lead to 18-2. The home team struggled offensively, shooting just 4-for-27 from the field. Hamline ended the first half with a commanding 42-14 lead, showcasing a strong defensive and fast-break performance.
