DE PERE, WIS.—The Hamline University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Augustana (Ill.) at the Green Bay Tennis Center on Saturday.
The Pipers fall to 1-3, while the Vikings improve to 2-1.
"Lost a 5-2 nailbiter to a very tough Augustana team," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "We did not play well in doubles, but turned it on in singles. Rumeal and Tyler both had epic three set wins. Cooper and Elijah battled really good opponents right up until the end in super close matches. We will be ready for MIAC play next weekend."
