ST. JOSEPH, MINN.—The Hamline University women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Benedict 23-4 in a road non-conference game on Wednesday evening.

The Pipers fall to 0-3, while the Bennies improve to 2-1.

Three-of-four Piper goals came from freshmen, led by Reagan Zywicki's two-goal performance.  Hamline also received a goal apiece from first year Lauren Moorhouse, and Nicole Phillips. Moorhouse also contributed an assist and six draw controls, while Phillips followed with five draws.

Sami Hackley and Ava Mosley each registered five goals for Saint Benedict, who out shot Hamline 52-13.

Lola Brouwer made 16 saves in net for the Pipers, while her counterpart Chloe Lewis stopped five shots for the Bennies.

The Pipers will travel to Edgewood on Monday, March 17 for a 4 p.m. game.
