SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's tennis team widened their win streak to seven with a 9-0 win over Concordia (Minn.) at the Holt Courts on Sunday afternoon.
The Pipers now sit at 11-5, 3-3 MIAC, and surpass last season's win total. They hadn't achieved 11 wins, or a seven-game win streak over the past two decades plus, and could be a school record amidst incomplete archives prior to the digital age.
This is their first win over the Cobbers since April 14, 2019. Concordia concludes their season 0-19, 0-10 MIAC.
"Terrific 9-0 win for our women today as they keep rolling," said Pipers head tennis coach Spencer Jones. "Great to get a win over a Concordia team that we have not defeated for a long time."
