SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's lacrosse team fell to Saint Benedict 24-6 in their 2025 home finale at Klas Field on Wednesday evening.

The Pipers fall to 6-8, 4-4 WIAC, while the Bennies improve to 8-5, 5-2 WIAC.

Hamline converted goals on their first three shots, which began with Kayli Starkey scoring the game's first goal with 12:36 left in the opening frame. Reagan Zywicki's player-up tally with 4:25 on the clock, and Avery Wilson's player-down score with 00:59 remaining kept the Pipers within one goal of the Bennies at 4-3 after the first quarter.

The next nine goals belonged to St. Ben's, which gave them more than enough cushion in a 24-6 win.

Wilson, who was honored as the lone Hamline senior on the 2025 roster, finished with two goals. Lauren Moorhouse notched one goal and two assists while Zywicki had one goal and one assist. Courtney Parker led the way with three ground balls and six draw controls.

Saint Benedict, who outshot Hamline 42-8, were led by Sami Hackley's four goals, four ground balls, and four caused turnovers.

Pipers goalie Matilda Urbia made 11 saves, while Chloe Lewis stopped one shot for the Bennies.

Hamline will conclude their 2025 season at UW-La Crosse on Saturday, April 26 at 4 p.m.
