SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University is pleased to welcome the addition of Ava Holland as the Leadership Development Coordinator / Business Operations Specialist. The role is made possible through the NCAA Pathway to Excellence Grant.

"We are excited to welcome Ava to Hamline University," said Hamline Assistant Vice President / Athletic Director Alex Focke. "She will be a great fit and we look forward to the opportunity to work with her."

Holland arrives to Hamline following one year at TGA of Central Hennepin County, where she served as the marketing manager / sports coach, as well as operations manager. 

The Decorah, Iowa native was a four-year member of the women's volleyball team at Luther College, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in sports management in 2024.

"I am looking forward to returning to a Division III environment, where I get to be a part of shaping the student-athlete experience," said Holland. "I feel especially fortunate to be joining Hamline Athletics, where I've already begun to experience the welcoming community and kind people. It's clear that there's a real focus on community involvement, fairness, and inclusive, supportive leadership. I'm excited to jump in and bring my skills to this wonderful place!"
