Cummings, Schmidt, Lamppa Earn MIAC Women's Basketball Conference Honors

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Hamline University senior guard Camille Cummings (Lino Lakes, Minn. / Centennial) and sophomore guard Josie Schmidt (Brooklyn Park, Minn. / DeLaSalle earned 2025 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference honors and sophomore guard Emma Lamppa (Eveleth, Minn. / Rock Ridge) earned a spot on the 2025-26 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Playoff Team, released Mar. 4. 

Cummings started and playing in 26 games this season for the Pipers, hitting her 1000th career point against Carleton in early January. She averaged 27.6 minutes on the court per game and scored an average of 12.3 points per game to help lead the Pipers this season. She lead the team with a total of 319 points, led by her impressive .791 free throw percentage. She also contributed 32 assists and 32 steals this season. 

Schmidt played in 26 games this season, averaging 22.1 minutes per game on the court. She was an crucial part of the Piper's defense this season, collecting 37 offensive and 37 defensive rebounds for the team. She was also in the top 10 of the MIAC in assists with 63 and 3rd in the MIAC with steals, averaging 2.8 per game for a total of 72 on the season. Schmidt also scored 162 points for the Pipers this season. 

Lamppa earned a spot on the MIAC All-Playoff Team for her performance during the Pipers playoff run. During the quarterfinal game against Saint Mary's, Lamppa had 12 points for the Pipers, going 4-6 from the arc. Her season 3-point percentage almost made it to .500, hitting .494 to end the season. She also contributed 4 steals and two assists in the quarterfinal game.
