Megan Kaczmarek Named Assistant Women's Soccer Coach

SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University Athletics has announced that Megan Kaczmarek will be moving into the full-time assistant coach role for Hamline Women's soccer effective May 6th. 

Kaczmarek most recently served as the girls director of coaching for the Saint Paul Blackhawks, where she oversaw the development of players and coaches for the under-11 through under-19 age groups. Since joining the Blackhawks in August 2021, she held several key roles, including girls staff coach, college liaison, and operations coordinator.

In the collegiate ranks, she has spent the last four years as an assistant with the Hamline University women's soccer program. Her college coaching career began in the fall of 2016 at North Central University through the NCAA Ethnic Women and Minorities Grant. During that two-year internship and assistantship, she also began their club coaching career with Cottage Grove United, where she remained through the 2018 summer season.

Following their time in Cottage Grove, the coach spent three years with Salvo Soccer Club. From August 2018 through July 2021, they balanced on-field duties as a staff coach with administrative responsibilities as the club's communications and social media coordinator.

Kaczmarek holds a Master of Education in sports management from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Arts in sports management from North Central University. Her professional credentials include a US Soccer B License and the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National diploma. This combination of high-level academic training and tactical certification provides a comprehensive foundation for their new role with the program.
