SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University men's hockey juniors
AJ Carls (Coon Rapids, Minn.),
Brock Carls (Coon Rapids, Minn.),
Calvin Knight (Evergreen, Colo.), and
Kyle Mortenson (Wayzata, Minn.) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large honorees, the organization announced June 16.
Junior forward
AJ Carls appeared in all
24 games for Hamline University, recording
6 goals and
6 assists for a total of
12 points. He displayed excellent offensive efficiency on the ice, netting his goals on just
36 shots to finish the year with a
.167 shooting percentage. His reliable production placed him tied for third on the team in goals and tied for fourth in overall scoring.
Junior forward
Brock Carls skated in all
24 games for Hamline University, tallying
4 goals and
7 assists for a total of
11 points. He registered
46 shots on goal to finish the year with an
.087 shooting percentage while making a significant impact on special teams by netting
3 power-play goals.
