Hamline University has hired Colin Schuetz as the first full-time assistant baseball coach in program history, and will begin his first season in 2025. He will serve as JV head coach, third base coach during varsity games, and work with all outfielders.

Schuetz joined the coaching staff fresh off an incredible four-year playing career with the Hamline baseball program as an outfielder. Over 99 career games played, the Milton, Wisconsin native accumulated 53 hits, 35 runs scored, 10 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 19 RBI, and 17 walks. He accumulated a .952 fielding percentage and 114 putouts in the outfield. As a senior, Schuetz was an athletic department intern, assisting in game day operations, among other administrative duties.

Schuetz obtained his bachelor's degree in business administration from Hamline University in May 2024.
