Nate starts his fifth season as an assistant football coach at Hamline. In 2016, he will oversee the wide receivers, a role he first handled when he joined the staff in 2012.
When Chad Rogosheske was named head coach for the 2013 season, Nate moved to the other side as a defensive line coach. That season, he helped tutor Corey Touchette, who led the team that year with 7 1/2 sacks.Â
In 2014, he moved to the secondary, working with the corner backs. Last season, he went back to the offensive side of things, working with quarterbacks Kyle Johnson and Justice Spriggs. At one point, the pair threw 135 consecutive passes without an interception.Â
Prior to coming to Hamline, Nate spent two seasons in operations with the University of Minnesota football program. He also spent a deacde as an assistant coach at Roseville High School. Â
