    Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Greg Miller, who is in his fifth year as an assistant men's basketball coach at Hamline during the 2022-23 season, is a 1983 Piper graduate. He was an All-Conference player at Robbinsdale High School and played two years for the Hamline JV squad.

Miller spent 33 years as a social studies teacher and coach, including 23 years as a head coach, the last 17 of which were spent at Robbinsdale Armstrong. Miller ended up with 333 career wins and twice was named Minnesota AAAA Coach of the Year (2007, 2018). He took two teams to the state tournament and coached in what has been voted by the Minnesota High School League a top-five state championship game vs. Buffalo in 2007.

“Many of my players have played in the MIAC, including four at Hamline, so I realize how good the talent and coaching is in this league," Miller said. "I look forward to contributing and helping Coach Hayes continue to build a great program."
