Hamline University Athletics

Josh Franzen is in his sixth season on the Piper staff during the 2020-21 academic year. He played collegiately for two seasons at MCTC (where he was team captain) and then at Division II University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He graduated from Mary with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. 

Franzen brings additional coaching experience to HU, as he was an instructor for two years at the Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball Clinic and has also coached at Minneapolis Southwest and Rosemount high schools.
