Kylee Zumach will embark on her second season as head women's volleyball coach in 2025. (9-19, one season)

Zumach, a native of Buffalo, Minnesota, brings a combination of high-level playing and coaching experience to the Pipers. She most recently served as the head girl's volleyball coach at her alma mater Buffalo High School for the past two seasons. Zumach kicked off her coaching career at MIAC foe Saint Mary's (Minn.), where she served as assistant women's volleyball coach for three seasons from 2019-21.

She was a member of the Kansas State University women's volleyball program, who competes in the Big 12 Conference (NCAA Division I). The outside hitter burst onto the scene in 2014, when she became the first Wildcat in program history to earn both the AVCA Region and Big 12 Freshman of the Year awards after breaking a multitude of rookie school records. Zumach's 2014 campaign also resulted in five Big 12 Rookie of the Week honors as well as spots on the All-Big 12 First Team, AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team, and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention Team.

Throughout her five seasons at K-State, Zumach accumulated two AVCA All-America Honorable Mentions, two AVCA All-Midwest Region First Team selections, two Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week nods, two tournament MVPS, and one trip to the All-Big 12 Women's Volleyball Team. She finished her career with 1379 kills, 616 digs, and 214 total blocks over 119 matches.

Her stellar work in the classroom gave her three Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Rolls, two Academic All-Big 12 Second Team awards, and a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.

Following her time at Kansas State, Zumach competed professionally in the Federation of International Volleyball in Spain.

Zumach obtained her bachelor's degree in family and human services from Kansas State University in 2017.
