Maggie Meixl starts her second season at the helm of the Hamline Volleyball program. Before taking charge of matters in 2017, Meixl was the main assistant coach in 2015 and 2016. Her first team finished strong, winning thee of its final four matches.
The Mankato, Minn. native was a dominating middle blocker at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. A captain in her senior season she was named All-Conference, was a two-time All-Sportsmanship team member, and still ranks in the Blue Devil record books. After completing her playing career she stayed with the program as an assistant coach and later served as a volunteer assistant at Concordia St Paul during its fifth-consecutive NCAA DII national championship season.
Meixl is active in the local volleyball scene, coaching club teams and numerous camps around Minnesota.
