The last player in the alphabet on the Ham,ine men's hockey team is at the top of the scoresheet. Brandon Zurn is tied with teammate Charlie Adams for the lead in points in Division III with 22. The senior added three last weekend - a goal and two assists -- as the Pipers dropped two close games to St. Thomas, 4-2 and 5-3.

The Mahtomedi native has averaged over a point per game in his HU career and is only eight markers away from becoming the seventh player in school history to record 100 career points. Zurn has 40 goals and 52 assists in 92 games for HU.

He had an assist on Frdiay and helped the Pipers to pair of leads Saturday with two nifty goals. Overall, he has 11 goals and 11 assists for HU, which takes a 4-5-2 mark into a pair of non-conference games this week at UW-River Falls (Tuesday, 7:05 p.m.) and at UW-Eau Claire (Saturday, 7:00 p.m.). After that, it's a well-deserved rest.
