Most MIAC women's basketball observers that HU junior Chloe Graves is fearless in how and she and back court running mate Chelsey Bonsante attack defenses. Last week proved again that Graves is tireless as well.Â
Graves went the distance of 45 minutes in Hamline's 58-56 OT loss at Carleton last Wednesday. In that game, she scored 15 points and hit a pair of free throws with 31 seconds to force the extra period. On Saturday, she never the couirt again, going all 40 minutes, scoring a season high 25 points in the Pipers' 84-61 loss at Bethel. It was the fifth time this year she had been in the game from start to finish.Â
The Denver, Col. native is averaging 39.13 minutes player per game, a figure that ranks fifth in the country among D-III players. She leads the Pipers in assists with 65 and sits second in points per game (15.6) and rebounds (4.7).Â
Graves and company get a double dose of MIAC action this week as well. They are at St. Mary's Wednesday (7:00 p.m. start) and return to Hutton Arena Saturday to face St. Catherine with a 3:00 p.m. tipoff slated. Â
