It may be a cold, dreary day but Hamline's men's speedsters warmed up to the cause quite well.

Tom Larson and Eric Hanson each won twice as Hamline finished second in a three-team field in a meet at Collegeville Saturday.

Larson zipped to victory in the 100 Meters in 10.95 seconds and also mastered the field in the 200 meters in a time of 22.41. Hanson edged out teammate Rex Gould to win the 110 Hurdles (16.47) and also sped to victory in the 400 Hurdles in 59.03.

Will Warmka beat back the field in the 400 meters in 49.73 seconds. HU showed it can run long, too when Ryan Peterson took the Steeplechase in 9:34.71. Amani Lee topped field competitors with a win in the Triple Jump (43'9"). Travis Latzke was second at 42' 2.75". Nathan Rock also earned a second place mark in the 5000 Meters (15:46.5).

Hamline finished with 121 points to the host's 160.5 total.
