LA CROSSE, Wis. --- For the second time this season, sophomore jumper
Isaiah Watson (Fridley, Minn.) brings home First Team All-American honors after placing eighth in the triple jump at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in La Crosse, Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse.
Watson posted a first jump of 15.05 meter to start off the day, and that would be the jump that would get him qualified for the second round of jumps and ultimately hold down his eighth place position for All-American honors. It is his second best jump all-time for outdoor or indoor triple jump. He is now three-time All-American, earning All-American Second Team honors as a first year when placing 15th in the outdoor triple jump, along with this seasons Indoor Championships fifth place All-American finish and now eighth place Outdoor Championship All-American finish.
