Nathan Rock continued to show they are among the elite cross country runners in the MIAC with Top Ten finishes at the St. Catherine Invitational Saturday. Logan finished fifth and Rock was eighth in the 4K race. Hamline in second place in the three-team field with 51 points in the team competition.
Logan, a junior, zipped to a time of 12:38.2 with Rock checking in at 12:49.1.Â
Sam Jewson, a sophomore, was the next Piper runner across the line, coming in 17th place (13:08.5). He was followed byÂ
Ronnie Stimson (24th, 13:19.19.4) andÂ
Tony Duchenes (27th, 13:23.5). The Pipers have one more test before the MIAC meet at the end of the month. They will run at UW-La Crosse next Saturday.
