Box Score Hamline's women's basketball team won the battle of the boards but couldn't find the net when needed and dropped a 76-58 decision at Northwestern in Roseville Saturday.Â

Tia Diggins had her first double digit game with 10 markers. But HU shot 29 per cent from the field overall and couldn't hold off the Eagles, who improved to 2-2 on the season.Â
The Pipers held tough in the first half, trailing just 35-32 at the intermission. The Eagles outscored the Pipers, 15-8, in the third quarter to push the lead to double digits and the Pipers couldn't catch up.Â
