If Friday is any indication, Hamline's men's track and field team looks ready to go for next week's MIAC Indoor Meet. the Pipers scored 169 points to hold off four opponents in the Kilt Classic held at Macalester.Â
HU had five first place and six second place finishes in competition with four other MIAC foes.Â
Tom Larson had a season best 6.99 effort to win the 60 yard dash.Â
Freddie Galloway also blitzed the competition with a 23.09 in winning the 200 Meters.Â
Jacob Pederson (52.17) edged out teammateÂ
Thane Widmar (52.30) for a thrilling 10-2 finish in the 400 Meters. (Pederson also had a second in the Long Jump.) Â
Eric Hanson fired his way past the 60 Hurdle field in 8.74 seconds, close to his season high best of 8.69.Â
Mark Volker showed he will be a serious contender in the Pole Vault with a winning effort of 15-05.75.
