As the MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Meet draws nearer, HU men's coach
Paul Schmaedeke is finding more and more depth. Hamline had 11 top five finishes against a talented field at the Golden Bear Invite held at Sea Foam Stadium on the Concordia (St. Paul) campus.
Joey Grussing won the Discus with a 150-02 heave.
Will Warmka (pictured) ran a terrific second place in the 400 Meters (51.11).
Eric Hanson also had a second place performance in the 110 Hurdles (15.56).
Rex Gould was right on Hanson's tail, coming in third (15.92).
Mark Volker continues to round into form in the Pole Vault, finishing second with a 15-03 effort.
In the 400 Hurdles,
Sam Gatton was third (1:00.10) followed closely by Hanson (1:01.3) and Gould (1:04.64).
Joe Matheson took fifth in the Pole Vault (13-09.25).
Jordan Steward landed in the same place in the High Jump (6-02).
