Box Score Jaci Reinke provided needed offense with her first goal of the year but it wasn't enough as the Piper women pucksters fell 4-1 at Concordia Friday.

Hamline pelted CC goalie Andresa Klug with 34 shots but Reinke was the only one to find the back of the net on a power play midway in the third period. At the time, it cut the Cobber lead to 2-1. CC got that goal back four minutes later and then found the empty net to send the Pipers back to .500 at 6-6-2 overall and 3-3-1 in MIAC games.

Penalties put HU in a bind all night. Hamline took seven penalties to the CC's four. The first Cobber goal came on a power play in the first period. HU killed off four penalties in the second period alone. 

Megan Lawry was a constant presence in the offensive zone, firing 10 shots on goal. Jena Kosley and Chelsea Koehn added four each. Jessica Cole surrendered three goals and finished the night with 23 saves. 

The same two teams meet Saturday in Moorhead. Game time is 2:00 p.m.
