James Logan was a man on the run Saturday. The senior won a duel with Augsburg's Abdullahi Salan to finish in first place at the St. Catherine Invitational.The Wisconsin native ran the 4K course in 12:45, beating Salan by less than two seconds.
Kyle Mehrhof led a three-player contingent that finished 13th-14th-15th respectively overall with a 13:06.553 effort.
Fernando Benitez was close behind at 13:08.73 and
Sam Bell was next at 13:09.31.
Tony Duchenes wrapped up the HU scoring with his overall 19th place finish and 13:13.34 time.
Hamline has one more meet before the MIAC CC event at the end of the month. It might be a special one for Logan. HU runs on Saturday, October 15 in Logan's hometown when they compete in the Wis-La Crosse Invitational.
