Box Score Reilly Geistfeld is quickly becoming accustomed to the pace of women's basketball at the Division III level. The freshman forward (with ball) unloaded a career high 22 points Monday for Hamline in a 67-60 loss at Wis-River Falls. The St. James, Minn. native now leads the Pipers in scoring at 12.3 points per game. She also is the team's top rebounder at 6.4 per game. Her 14 three-pointers is also tied for the team lead.
Morgen Coleman added 12 Â points but HU, playing its third game in a six days, fell to a fourth quarter surge by the Falcons and dropped to 4-5 overall on the season.Â
The Pipers, who trailed 35-29 at halftime, used a 11-2 run in the final five minutes of the third quarter to enter the final frame tied at 45. Geistfeld hit a layup to open the fourth session and give HU a two point lead. The Falcons snapped back to tie the game only to see HU inch ahead by a point on two more occasions. A 6-0 WRF run gave the home team a five-point advantage and Hamline could get no closer than two points the rest of the way.Â

Chloe Graves had six steals to go over the 100 mark for her career. The senior guard had a pair of assists to up her career totals in that category to 292 -- six shy of the all-time school mark. She also had five points and now has 963 for her career.Â
Hamline is off until December 29 when they travel to Wartburg to face the host team on the first day of a two-day tournament. HU will take on either Washingtoin (MO) or Wis-La Crosse the next afternoon.Â
