It was quite a night for improvement for Hamline's men's track/field team at the Snowshoe Open at the U of Minnesota Friday night.
Competing against athletes from D-I and II as well as D-III, Dylan Olson had an excellent night. His 8.63 effort in the 60 Hurdles was second among D-3 runners. Ryan Peterson (5th place) and Chris Lagergren (16th) had personal bests in the Mile Run. Travis Jacobson (pictured) threw the Shot Put 52-04, finishing in sixth place. He is now tied with teammate Chase Duwenhoegger for the 13th best throw this season in D-III.
Isaac Krause and Sam Jewson had personal best times in the 800 Meters. Krause was ninth in 1:57.27 and Jewson checked in at 15th in the 24-man field at 1:59.39.Â
