Box Score They were all smiles before the game as they were feted by their coaches and teammates. After the game, Alex Peterson (left) and Emily Behrman gave everybody another reason to smile. Playing their last games for the Pipers, Peterson popped in a game high 14 points and Behrman tied for the team lead in rebounds with six and was the top assist person with four in the Pipers' season-ending 69-53 setback to Bethel at Hutton Arena Saturday.

It was a game that was a lot closer than the final score would indicate. The Royals couldn't put the pesky Pipers away for three quarters. BU led by only a pair at 16-14 after a quarter and only inched it to three points at 31-28 by halftime. After three, HU was still within range at 46-41.

Peterson, who also had five rebounds and Behrman has plenty of company in keeping things tight. Chloe Graves threw in 13 points and Tia Diggins added 10. Mariah Ortega-Flowers came off the bench to tie Behrman for the rebounding lead with half a dozen in her own right.

Hamline finishes the season 3-22 overall, 1-17 in the MIAC.
