Box Score The Hamline women's hockey team will be looking for the road to get back on track. The Pipers fired 29 shots at Concordia goalie Andrea Klug Saturday at Oscar Johnson Arena but couldn't get one past her in a 3-0 loss. Hamline fell to 6-7-1 overall, 4-3-0 in the MIAC while the highflying Cobbers, a 3-1 winner on Friday, improved to 10-4-1, 7-1-0 in league play.

Fot the second day in a row, HU Annie Juergens kept her team in the game. The freshman stopped 24 shots and kept the game at 1-0 until CC scored a pair of third period goals. Darby Dodds led the Piper offense with eight shots on goal -- four in each of the first two periods. Dani Perry and Sadie Baker added three each.

Penalties hurt the Pipers' cause. In the first period, HU killed off the first three they were tagged with but a fourth one  in the period resulted in a power play goal that gave Concordia all the offense it would need.

Hamline, now tied with Bethel for fifth place (the final MIAC playoff spot) will look to find its offensive mojo on Wednesday, January 18 when they travel to St. Cloud to face St. Benedict. (3-11-0, 0-7-0 MIAC) This is the makeup of a game that was scheduled for December but had to be postponed because of weather conditions. Next weekend, Hamline plays a home and home series with St. Mary's (4-9-2, 1-5-1 MIAC).
